I just realized that I haven’t written anything since the plane ride here. Pretty much been busy since I arrived, helping Dad clean out Mom’s closet and look for a new place to live. Dad doesn’t want to stay in this house anymore (I don’t blame him) since everything reminds him of Mom. The closet cleaning was a tough day. It was hard touching all her clothes that still smell like her. We donated it all to Goodwill. Hopefully someone in need will get more use out of them then if we just threw it all out. A lot of the clothing still had tags attached. I did take a few items to keep for myself, just like I did with Harry. It’s too bad I wear a larger shoe size than Mom did or I would have inherited a lot of nice pairs (I think she was quite happy about that when I was a teenager too).
So anyway, just wanted to write a quick post to say hi to all my readers and let you know I am OK. I will get back to my normal posting schedule when I am back home later this week! Hope everyone has a nice Labor Day.
We are T-minus 36 hours until I leave for San Diego to visit my parents! I am so very excited, not only to see them, but also to just go on a vacation. It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve even been on a plane. And I have a layover in VEGAS! I’ve never been to Vegas. I will be there for 2 hours so there isn’t really enough time to do anything, but I heard there are slot machines in the airport *giggle*. When I get to California, my parents plan on taking me to all the tourist spots: San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Disneyland and a day-trip to Hollywood. I think that will be my favorite part! We need to go stalk some celebrity hangouts. I think lunch at the Ivy is certainly in order. I will try to blog during the week at night to keep you all informed of my adventures and I will most definitely be
