CAREER SUMMARY
Interning in college at a radio station to get my foot in the door has led to an enjoyable career in advertising and marketing. I have over 13 years experience in all aspects of communication, from public relations to marketing, for over 100 different clients in various fields. I have worked in both the Account Service and Creative departments in Advertising Agencies, so this gives me a great perspective when doing either job. I am extremely creative, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
In the past few years I have been drawn to Social Media. When I lost my job in 2009, I started using Twitter on a more regular basis. I soon became one of the top Twitter users on Long Island. I turned my obsession with Tweeting into Basically Becky, a Graphic Design and Social Media Management firm. As Tweetmaster Extraordinaire and Owner of Basically Becky, I create and maintain the Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr, WordPress, YouTube, Digg, LinkedIn, Squidoo and StumbleUpon pages of companies across the nation to help them reach out to a whole new audience. Many companies whose Social Media pages I have created have seen an increase in new clients, brand loyalty and a few have even been featured in publications as the “best on Twitter” in their fields. I can also create brand identities, logos, business cards, Twitter backgrounds, Facebook covers, Newsletters, Postcards, Web Banners and more.
